Luke 1

Born in Melbourne in 1992, Luke grew up in Bendigo, Victoria. He is a talented performer whose devotion, enthusiasm and passion for music and people has led hundreds of brides, corporate executives and other individuals to hire Luke for the atmosphere, energy and excitement that he brings to their event.

A dedicated athlete throughout his teenage years, Luke’s childhood dream was to play AFL football. Sadly, his sporting endeavours came to a standstill when, months before his 15th birthday, he suffered a hamstring avulsion whilst competing in a regional athletics sprint race. During his nine month recovery, Luke turned to his other passion in music. Having learned singing, guitar, piano and drums in his younger years, the whole music thing came back to him again.

In 2008, Luke began taking guitar lessons and donated his time to performing at local charity events. Since then, Luke’s musical career has flourished and he has gained a reputation as one of the most in-demand corporate and wedding entertainers throughout Central Victoria.

CHARITABLE WORKS

Luke established ‘Bendigo for Homeless Youth’ in 2012; a non-profit organisation that has assisted in raising over $6,000,000 to date to provide housing accommodation, family reconciliation and education for hundreds of people in Bendigo and throughout Central Victoria. Part of this contribution was Luke coordinating a group of talented Bendigo musicians and collaborated with them to record the charity album “Home” of which 1200 copies were sold. For his efforts, Luke was awarded the 2013 National Pride of Australia Young Leader medal and was named a finalist in the 2014 Young Australian of The Year awards.
